55 저널기사 Development of Novel MgCl2 Supported Catalyst with Trivalent Titanocene Complex of Cp2TiCl2AlCl2 for Propylene Polymerization - MgCl2-supported Cp2TiCl2AlCl2 was prepared and applied to propylene polymerization. The catalyst activated by ordinary alkylaluminum produced PP containing 31.8 wt % of isotactic PP in fairly CP good yield. The isotactic index (I.I.) of PP was improved drastically by adding DIPDMS as external donor and reached the value as high as 98.4%, even in the absence of any internal donors/ 미리보기

56 저널기사 Assembly of Poly(N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide) Having Cholesteryl Moiety as Terminal Groups - Poly (N-(2-hydroxypropyl)methacrylamide)s with one pendant cholesteryl moiety at the polymer end (PHPMA-Chol) or two pendant cholesteryl moieties at both polymer ends (PHPMA-2Chol) as terminal groups can self-organize to form a micelle and include the cholesterol molecules in the micelle to form drug-delivery-system models. These amphiphilic polymers exhibit an excellent blood compatibility, as determined from the enzymatic reaction of thrombin and a synthetic substrate, S-2238/ 미리보기

58 저널기사 Electron Spin Resonance Study on Chemical Crosslinking Reaction Mechanisms of Polyethylene using a Chemical Agent. V. Comparison with Polypropylene and Ethylene-Propylene Copolymer - The chemical reaction process of polypropylene (PP), ethylene-propylene copolymer (EPM), and ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer (EPDM) crosslinking induced by dicumyl peroxide (DCP) was studied using electron spin resonance (ESR) at high temperature. The radical species detected in PP were alkyl type radicals, formed by the abstraction of hydrogen atoms from the tertiary carbon of polymer chains. For EPDM containing a diene component, the radicals were trapped at double bonds in this diene component to form allyl radicals. The resolutions of these spectra were extremely clear; hence, isotropic spectra of these polymer radicals were obtained/ 미리보기
