Cervical Spine - Subtotal Corpectomy Versus Laminoplasty For Multilevel Cervical Spondylotic Myelopathy: A Long-Term Follow-Up Study Over 10 Years - In this study, 23 patients treated with subtotal corpectomy and 24 patients treated with laminoplasty for multilevel cervical spondylotic myelopathy were followed up for 10 to 14 years. Neurologic recovery, late deterioration, axial pain, radiographic changes, and surgical complications were reviewed retrospectively. Neurologic recovery was maintained over 10 years in both the subtotal corpectomy and laminoplasty groups. With subtotal corpectomy, a major complication was pseudartbrosis, whereas with laminoplasty, the disadvantages were axial pain and reduced vertebral range of motion./
