Diagnostics - Measurement of Thoracic and Lumbar Fracture Kyphosis: Evaluation of Intraobserver, Interobserver, and Technique Variability - The amount of kyphosis is one factor used in the clinical analysis of thoracic and lumbar burst fractures. This study analyzes the inter-and intraobserver reliability among three independent spine-surgeons using five different techniques to measure 50 random lateral radiographs of thoracolumbar burst fractures. The Cobb method of measuring from the superior endplate one vertebra above the fracture to the inferior endplate one level below the fracture proved to be the most reliable technique./
