Technique - Prone Position Endoscopic Transthoracic Release With Simultaneous Posterior Instrumentation for Spinal Deformity: A Description of the Technique - This report describes the technique and clinical results of endoscopic transthoracic anterior release performed for the correction of adult spinal deformity with the patient prone, on the concave side for scoliosis or on either side for kyphosis, with simultaneous posterior instrumentation and correction. This technique offers a less invasive method of accessing the anterior spinal column, with the benefits of excellent field of view, minimal soft tissue disruption, and an improved cosmetic result. With this simultaneous technique, the need for staged or subsequent procedures is eliminated/
