Original Articles - Intercostal Neuromas: A Treatable Cause of Postoperative Breast Surgery Pain - Five patients presenting with pain and a positive local Tinel's sign after breast surgery were all found to have transected intercostal nerves at exploration. The neuromas were excised under traction and allowed to retract. All patients experienced complete pain relief./
