Development of Novel MgCl2 Supported Catalyst with Trivalent Titanocene Complex of Cp2TiCl2AlCl2 for Propylene Polymerization - MgCl2-supported Cp2TiCl2AlCl2 was prepared and applied to propylene polymerization. The catalyst activated by ordinary alkylaluminum produced PP containing 31.8 wt % of isotactic PP in fairly CP good yield. The isotactic index (I.I.) of PP was improved drastically by adding DIPDMS as external donor and reached the value as high as 98.4%, even in the absence of any internal donors/

Dispersion Polymerization of 2-Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide - Published online 30 August 2000 - Poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) could be effectively emulsified in supercritical carbon dioxide using a diblock copolymer surfactant consisting of polystyrene and poly(1,1-dihydroperfluorooctyl acrylate) and the successful stabilization of the polymerization simultaneously gave spherical particles in submicron range./
